Avid traveller, photo-book hoarder, Arctic Monkeys fanboy… and web developer.

I started my career in 2016 as a fresh-faced graduate of the University of Wollongong, where I studied Digital Media — a degree that has absolutely nothing at all to do with web development.

Swell brought me in with the primary purpose of making liberal use of my seven years experience as a barista… but also to learn basic email coding skills so that I could do the easy tasks none of the real developers wanted to do.

It turned out I wasn’t bad, and even managed to turn them a profit — what was supposed to be a six month internship became a year-long contract. The contract evolved into a permanent position, where I have ever since been constantly growing my skillset and becoming more resourceful, confident, and efficient.

I outgrew my ‘Junior Developer’ title and now sit firmly between the Junior and Senior stages, with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS/SCSS, WordPress, Javascript/Jquery, Bootstrap, a plethora of plugins and APIs, and PHP.
